Vamos ser sinceros: todos nós começámos no 0. Na maior parte, todos nós estamos no mesmo campo quando se trata de crescer e estabelecer uma presença online. Quando começamos, muitas vezes nos perguntamos: o que estou a fazer de errado? As pessoas podem não estar a ler, comentar ou a seguir. Mas existem algumas coisas definidas que podes fazer agora para ajudar-te nisso.
Parte de encontrar alegria neste mundo de blogs está em sermos bem-sucedidos. Ganhar e estabelecer seguidores, fazer as pessoas ler os teus posts e assim por diante. Isso geralmente leva um pouco de esforço. Se estiveres apenas a começar, lembra-te que todos nós já passámos por isso.
Algumas semanas atrás foi o meu #bloganniversary - 2 anos de Girls Want It All !! - então eu queria compartilhar com vocês duas coisas que eu fiz que me ajudaram a crescer o meu blog. Essas duas coisas ajudaram me a estabelecer uma comunidade, a esculpir uma das minhas paixões e a criar o blog que é hoje.

Let’s face it: we all start out at 0. For the most part, all of us are on the same blog playing field when it comes to growing and establishing our online presence. When we start, we often wonder, what am I doing wrong? People might not be reading, or commenting, or following. But there are some definite things you can do right now to help you with this.
Part of finding joy in blogging is being successful. Gaining and establishing a following, having people read your posts, and so on. That usually takes a little effort. If you’re just starting, remember that we all struggle with this.
A few weeks ago was my #bloganniversary - 2 years of Girls Want It All!! - so I wanted to share with you 2 things that I did that helped me grow my blog. This helped me to get noticed, establish a community, carve out my passions, and created my blog what it is today.

1. PINTEREST
Eu posso vos dizer que como blogger, se não estiverem ainda a usar o Pinterest, estão a perder uma grande quantidade de potenciais leitores para o vosso blog.
Implementar o Pinterest na minha estratégia de crescimento tem sido uma das melhores coisas que fiz para o meu blog. De fato, por causa do Pinterest, consegui mais que duplicar as minhas visualizações em menos de um ano. Lês-te bem o que eu disse? Os meus pins tiveram um alcance total de 3 milhões de impressões no Pinterest. Estou muito feliz com os resultados. Eu só recentemente comecei a usar esta plataforma para o blog e nem tenho muitos seguidores.
O fato é que a mídia social ainda é um fator importante para ajudar seu blog a crescer organicamente, então eu realmente sugiro que ele seja feito !! Um post que viral pode mudar tudo. ;)

Implementing Pinterest into my growth strategy has hands down been one of the best things I've done for my business and blog. In fact, because of Pinterest, I was able to more than double my page views in less than a year. Did you read that correctly? My pins have had a total reach of 3 million impressions on Pinterest. I’m thrilled with the results. I only recently started use this platform for the blog and I don’t even have a large following.
The fact is, social media still plays a major factor in helping your blog grow organically, so I really suggest having it!! A viral post can change everything. ;)
2. ESCREVER EM OUTRA LÍNGUA/WRITING ON ANOTHER LANGUAGE
Muitos de nós tem pelo menos uma língua nativa e uma linguagem veicular (quase sempre o inglês) que usamos por diversos motivos. Um bom motivo pode ser o público. O inglês internacional é uma maneira fácil e eficiente de alargar os nossos horizontes. Ao escrever só no nosso idioma, o nosso grupo-alvo será bastante menor do que escrever em um idioma global como o inglês - uma língua que muitos usuários da Internet falam. Escrever em inglês naturalmente trará um público maior e trará mais leitores para o teu blog. Eu notei uma grande diferença!
Many of us have at least a native language, and a vehicular language (quite often English) that we use for many different reasons. A good reason can be audience. International English is an easy and efficient way to broaden your horizons.
When writing in your own language your target group will be smaller, than writing in a global language like English – a language many Internet users speak. Writing in English will naturally have a bigger audience and bring more readers to your blog. I noticed a big difference!
